Supply Chain Data-Sharing Challenges and the Responsible Business Transparency Protocol
Tokyo, Japan
April 20, 2026
11:00AM - 12:30PM
Suppliers are increasingly asked to share data about their supply chains and the origins of raw materials by their customers in order to fulfill different regulatory requirements or business objectives. These requests can vary widely between customers, require using multiple platforms or questionnaires, or present other challenges - even when suppliers find value in sharing the data requested.
This session will invite discussion on:
- Common challenges in supply chain data-sharing (both in making requests of suppliers and in responding to customers)
- Product and facility information that is valuable for you to communicate to customers or share publicly
The session will also introduce the Responsible Business Transparency Protocol (RBTP) as a data approach designed to reduce duplication, improve clarity, and support secure, consistent data sharing while allowing companies to retain ownership over their own data.
Open to Members and their Suppliers. Lunch to follow and will be provided
