Jonas De Schaepmeester is Sustainability and Closed-loop Manager for Umicore. Since three years, Jonas is responsible for the responsible sourcing programs in Umicore's battery materials department. Next to that, Jonas works on projects related to circular economy for lithium-ion batteries. Jonas holds an engineering degree in environmental technology (Ghent, Belgium). In 2019, he was selected by Greenbiz and WBCSD as 30 under 30 Nominee.
