Lauren Joseph is the Lead for the Electronics Industry at the World Economic Forum. She brings expertise in sustainability and supply chain issues across different parts of the Electronics value chain with experience across private sector, government, academia and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to joining WEF, she led Sustainability and Stakeholder Engagement at IAMGOLD Corporation, a publicly traded gold mining company, where she developed and implemented the global sustainability strategy across operations in West Africa, Canada and South America. Prior to that she worked for Sustainalytics in the Netherlands, the United Nations in NYC and for the Canadian International Development Agency (now Global Affairs Canada) in Guyana. Lauren holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, an Honours BA in Media, Information and Technology from the University of Western Ontario and was an ICT Fellow at Nanyang Tech University in Singapore. She speaks fluent French, intermediate Spanish and beginner Mandarin and is a Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum.
