Judy Glazer is Director of Hewlett-Packard’s Social and Environmental Responsibility team for Printing and Personal Systems. Her team is accountable for environmental management for personal computing systems, digital printers, presses and other printing solutions, including compliance and design for the environment programs and ethical sourcing. This team has been responsible for many of HP’s social and environmental responsibility leadership efforts, including such as lifecycle assessment, enabling manufacturing of printing supplies with closed-loop recycled plastic and development of innovative product take back and recycling solutions in both developed and developing economies. Previously, Glazer directed pan-HP product and supply chain sustainability programs including HP’s internationally-recognized program to implement the company’s code of conduct for labor, ethics, health and safety, and environmental standards in its supply chain.
Judy joined HP in 1989. She holds BS degrees in Materials Science and Electrical Engineering and MS and PhD degrees in Materials Science and Engineering, all from the University of California, Berkeley. Her past roles encompassed electronics assembly manufacturing technology and reliability and a variety of leadership positions in engineering and supply chain.
