Suppliers Training on Responsible Recruitment Due Diligence Toolkit (New Suppliers)

This training will equip Apple’s suppliers with knowledge and practical tools to conduct
responsible recruitment due diligence (RRDD) through the utilization of a customized toolkit
based on Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) guidelines. By
the end of the course, participants will have an understanding of the core processes related to
RRDD and firsthand knowledge on how to use the toolkit to ensure that these core processes
are carried out end-to-end with their recruitment/labor agencies in both sending and receiving
countries.


The practical training will include access to the toolkit directly while being guided by the trainer.
This training is exclusive for Apple’s invited suppliers.

 

Pre-requisite: it is highly recommended that participants have completed the Suppliers Forced
Labor Training (Course 101) and/or have a foundational understanding of implementing the
RBA’s Freely Chosen Employment Code of Conduct requirements.


Course Objective: The course aims to help participants to have a clear understanding of the
RBA/RLI Responsible Recruitment Due Diligence Tool Kit. The course comes with one real
life case study. The course consists of two modules and each module takes about 2.5 hours.


Course contents:
1. Overview of the Responsible Recruitment Due Diligence (RRDD) toolkit.
2. One comprehensive case study that help participants to familiarize themselves with
the tools.
