On the occasion of the entry into force of the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation (EU CMR) on January 1st 2021, a milestone event in responsible mineral sourcing, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) are convening a multi-stakeholder conference to take stock of the implementation and impact of the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation, in particular through the lens of producer countries. This conference will feature interactive discussions in an inclusive multi-stakeholder spirit, engaging a global audience of public, non-profit and private sector participants, and explore the past and the anticipated impact of the long-awaited EU CMR on global stakeholders.  

 

The discussions will be conducted in English. Space is limited so you must register in advance.

All sessions are conducted under the Chatham House Rule.
