This is the same training that was delivered in Penang in November 2016. Those labor agencies that had attended the training before – whereby you have existing staff still holding the certificate of attendance, need not apply to attend again.
The Responsible Labor Initiative (RLI) will be hosting training for Indonesian and Malaysian labor agents involved in recruiting foreign workers from Indonesia to Malaysia. The “Ethical Recruitment Appreciation Course” provides labor agents with foundational knowledge and tools to meet RLI member company expectations on forced labor. The course will help participants assess themselves against the RBA’s Forced Labor Protocol and prepare action plans that identify internal policies, processes, systems and competencies that need to be in place to meet them.

There is no cost for labor agencies nominated by RLI member companies (RBA member companies are automatically RLI member). We'd like to thank Intel Corporation, NXP Semiconductors and Seagate for sponsoring this training opportunity. In addition, joint-sponsorship opportunities remains available for other RLI member companies.

Each labor agency should plan to send two people to this two-day, immersive course. Participants should be owners, managers, training officers, or recruitment and selection officers.
