RBA Suppliers' Workshop
Global Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) expectations are rapidly evolving, with new regulations and customer requirements increasingly shaping how companies manage risks across their supply chains. For suppliers, these developments can have direct implications for business relationships, market access, customer expectations and day-to-day operations regardless of where a supplier is located.
This practical training is designed for RBA, RLI and RGA suppliers in India to build a clear understanding of global HRDD developments and translate these expectations into practical action at the facility level.
Participants will explore key global HRDD regulations and understand how these requirements and evolving customer expectations affect suppliers in India. The training will also provide an overview of relevant Indian legislation and compliance expectations, while helping participants identify and address key human rights risks within their own facilities.
Through practical examples, discussions and exercises, participants will learn how to apply the RBA Code of Conduct and relevant RBA tools to strengthen their due diligence processes, address identified risks and develop practical improvement plans aligned with international expectations.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Understand major global Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) regulations.
- Recognize how global customer requirements affect suppliers regardless of where they operate.
- Understand the legal and business risks of non-compliance.
