Ethical Recruitment Appreciation Course for Labor Providers

The Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Foundation will be hosting a training for labor providers in Nepal on 27 - 28 November 2019 at the Park Village Resort, Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu. 

The “Ethical Recruitment Appreciation Course” provides labor providers with foundational knowledge and tools to meet company expectations on forced labor in alignment with the RBA standards on forced labor. The course will help participants assess themselves against the RBA’s standards on forced labor and prepare action plans that identify internal policies, processes, systems and competencies that need to be in place to meet them.

This training is also open to all Nepali labor providers involved in recruiting foreign workers from Nepal to Malaysia and other destination countries. RBA/RLI member companies are encourage to nominate the labor providers in their supply chain that have not attended the training before to this two-day, immersive course. Priority will be given to labor providers that are currently supplying workers to RBA/RLI member companies but have not attended the course before. Due to limited seats, interested participants are requested to submit their their application to attend here for approval to attend. Each labor providers are allowed two seats, with a third seat being subjected to availability. 

Participants must be owners, managers, training officers, recruitment and selection officers or its equivalent. They are expected to share and cascade the learnings from the training after attending the course to other staff within their companies. 

 

Note: Individuals that have attended the training before in 2016 and 2018 need not apply as it is the same course which you have already attended.
